What a Great Use for old Altoids tins. Mine always get called "phones" when they are empty. Jeric rocks.
You know those DPNs & Circs I was so excited about finding? I misplaced the bag again. I think I moved it out of the reach of little ones, but I don't remember where. Ugh.
I pulled out a bunch of bags of yarn & WIPs so I can take pictures of it all today and finally get to work on that page i"ve been thinking about in my head. IF I get time. IF my two year old doesn't wake my baby. Although I think this morning that was the opposite, babys fussing woke up Kier (who, yes, was sleeping in our bed last night. Actually only since around five AM). Fun.
I don't know why I didn't knit more when I was pregnant. When do I ever get time to knit now? Ok See me typing? My hands COULD be knitting. But when the baby is nursing and not on his boppy (if I have the boppy, I can sometimes knit while nursing. depends on how we're "set up" here) I just read all the knitting boards & blogs & lists. Gotta get my fix somehow.
Oh yay I found my DPNs & Circular needles that were "lost". They werent in the box I thought they were in. They were in a different one. Also all the way at the back under things. But up top & the opposite side of the closet. Unfortunatly I took out some of the stuff before and who knows where it is now. A move, a couple of kids during pregnancy, and a new baby help to make things Lost.
I started another set of little baby sock/booties. I am doing these a bit different, but I started out with the same basic pattern (cast on 20. LOL). They won't have a strip, I knit 3 rows, did k2togs & yo's in the next row to make a row of little holes, knit another 3 or 4 rows, then started with seed stitch. I'm going to knit until they are as long as I want them, then cast off & sew up the seams. But I plan on setting them aside awhile after I finish knitting them, then sewing up the seams because if I do it all at once I will rush through wanting to get it done!
I should work on Jeric's scarf. That would have been great for him to have yesterday with the SNOWY day we had. Oh well.
