(and so far they don't fall off, but that mighT be because of the sleeper he is wearing)

I finished the second sock. I used a bigger needle to sew up the seams, and part of it looks soo much better than the first, but then I quit paying attention and just wanted to finish so yeah. Next time though. I will set it aside and then go back and sew up the seam rather than doing it RIGHT after i finish knitting. But tonight i'm on a baby is about to wake up deadline :P So I will go to him. Oh the pattern I used... baby tube socks now to go put both of em on my baby bear : ) pics soon, whenever i can find my battery charger!

I finished the first sock. My seam sewing SUCKS though. I really need to read up on that. I found some tips online, but apparently I still didn't do it right! Maybe Ren can give me some tips, shes been knitting longer than I have. Anyway, the battery in the camera needs charging so no pics yet, see I don't know where the charger is at!

I told my dad today I was going to knit him a new hat & scarf set. His don't match, at all, and that bugs me. Well, they are both red & blue but different shades! The scarf looks totally different. It just bugs me SO much. I am much more of a "perfectionist" than I ever thought, and I only recently realized this, and that bugs me too!

Anyway I found this simple hat pattern. And I figure I can just do a simple stockinette stitch scarf to match. Cool.

My dad wears a scarf even in 50 degree weather days. He rocks, he doesn't care what anyone else thinks either. That is probably why the mismatched colors DONT bother him.

Now while I am a perfectionist I do like to have fun sometimes and wear different color socks--so long as they are the same type & size socks. heh. But usually I do try to make my clothes match. I don't like the playdough colors mixed up, or the water color paints! I am trying hard not to pass this onto the kids so I refrain from freaking out when they mix up these things. But it's soooo hard. This is not knitting related is it? No. Ok.

I am going to work on my works in progress page this week. Tommorow MIL is coming over to help me with stuff, so not tommorow. But soon. Ok back to work on the baby tube sock, It is going very quickly & I can't wait to finish it & get working on the second one & put them on my cutie : )

I just feel like rambling about knitting. I want to get my stuff organized sooo badly. And know whats "in progress" (supposedly) and all. The box that my yarns and stuff are in is in the closet and the top got broken. Jason did it. It's OK with me, so long as he still let's me have his big trunk that he said I could have. It's full of computer stuff & books right now. Another of my boxes is all the way in the back of the closet under other things. It has a ton of pattern books & old magazines. Ebay rocks. I was trying to get into it today but I can't, i still can't believe he put it all the way down there when he re-organized the closet. I think that is where my DPN's are hiding, so I want to get into it. Oh the baby is waking up so I better go now. So much for getting knitting done while he was sleeping, oh well.
