I'm suprised at how far i've come in the knitting-hats-stuff. I laid them all out earlier, and was looking at em.
The first one was a baby bonnet gone wrong. hehe. I didn't know how to purl yet (thought I did!) and I didn't know ANYTHING about guage. it's not even sewn up together.
Second one was the sock gone wrong. My DPNs were size 10, no way that was going to fit as a sock so I turned it into a little baby cap. Should have knit it more before decreasing though.
Third was my first actual attempt at a baby hat on DPN's It is OK. The yarn really seems too thin for the pattern i used though, it looks funny.
The fourth was the rainbow cap. it was too short because i decreased too quickly (i've learned better since that hehe in only two hats!) & so I decided to pick up stitches and knit on an inch or so more. Wellll now the bottom isn't stretchy! Woops.
The fifth was the blue one I shared recently, for my baby, one of my favorites.
Sixth was the blue one I mentioned I finished earlier today. I really like it too.
I'll take a photo of all of those lined up in order some time soon.
And my next one will probably be for dh's cousins baby to match the blanket I am knitting. I have to finish the first section and switch colors so that I can start on it!
I knit about five more rows on the blanket today. I am going to do more tonight. I wanted to go to target tonight, but my husband doesn't feel like going out. Oh well.
Decrease decrease decrease
almost done with the little blue hat finally. hehe.
i didnt knit a lot of this past week though. la de da.
i have not touched that blanket. blah. and the baby is threatening to be pre-term. yikes. stay in there little boy you need your lungs to mature more.
